All Day Tapas Cafe
Jimmy & Cara opened Away We Go in March 2016. Since then they have been keeping the neighbourhood happy with breakfast, brunch, lunch, cofffe & cake and tapas throughout the day. We're here to provide delicious home-cooked food, a warm welcome and a relaxed environment. Pop in and say hello for a cortado and a cake, or bring friends for a bottle of wine and some fine grazing.
Breakfast & Brunch.
Our breakfasts and brunch range from the traditional the alternative and are cooked to order from the best ingredients. Grab a bacon sarnie to go if you're in a rush, or if not, relax and read the papers over eggs, beans, sausage and bacon in the form of THE FULL MONTROSE, or with fried potates and mushrooms on THE VEGGIE MONTROSE. For a sweeter treat, bring the family for waffles, bacon and egg with a splash of maple syrup. Our SPRINGTIME PORRIDGE is a taste sensation, and we have freshly baked croissants, toast, cakes, and teacakes.
Tapas.
All our tapas dishes are home-made by Jimmy, and just like home, the selection changes according to what we've got in. The display cabinet is filled each day, so choose a dish or two for a tasty lunch, or come with friends for a night of it. Tell us if there's anything you don't eat, then sit back and let us bring a selection to your table while you catch up over a few beers, gins, or bottle of wine. As there's no menu we can only tell you about what has been on before, but if you make a request for your favourite, it might make a reappearance.
